“The greatest wealth is a poverty of desires.” Seneca
Greetings from a quieter place. When I began my blog it was a private place. I simply challenged myself to post everyday for a year because I like to write. Everyday I would write. Sometimes I would crack myself up. And then …
Right now we’re going through a kitchen remodel and cooking, let alone creating new dishes to write about, is near impossible. Therefore, I won’t be cooking for about a month. I might create a tasty rollup and I just might write about it. Or not. Maybe I’ll just blather on about my take on what’s going on around me. What I’ll do for sure is write. And play.
I’m thinking (always dangerous) that summertime is the perfect time to give up cooking. Maybe there’ll be some grilling with my husband at the helm. Maybe a bit of microwave mayhem as I melt cheese bits on lo-carb tortilla. That might be enough work for one meal.
I’m beginning to feel inspired. How about a challenge put out to the household meal planner to see who can spend the least amount of time in the kitchen while presenting healthy foods. Yes!
Time to eat the buffalo chicken wings that I brought home. I love buffalo chicken wings! Didn’t take a picture.
