“Stay hungry, stay foolish.”  Steve Jobs

I’m not one to share pictures of my grandchildren.  My grandchildren are so utterly gorgeous that I don’t want to make other old people feel bad.  That’s my story!

Yes, I’m as diligent about taking pictures of my grandchildren as I am taking pictures of the food I prepare.  I get distracted.  I’m having too much fun trying to keep up with all of the members of my family.  But then…

This picture of my granddaughter, Rose, was posted on Facebook by her parents.  It’s a picture of her graduation from 4-year kindergarten.  And it’s an accurate statement of this fascinating child.

Rose, for those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting her, is her own person.  She is not shy, demure, or especially quiet.  She lives, as spiritual advisers advise, in the moment.  She’s completely absorb in whatever she’s about.

As you would expect, her parents are also people who never forgot what it’s like to be a kid. (My opinion.)  They love her.  She knows it.  This enables her to fly without fear.  And now that she’s a graduate!!!

I can’t wait to see what happens to Rose as she grows.  More than that, I can’t wait to see what happens to the world that Rose decides to inhabit.
