ZERO WASTE DANIEL

“A stitch in time!”

The other day I was stumbling around the Internet, looking for something or nothing, when I came upon a site that proves that there are business ventures at every turn.  It’s simply a matter of keeping your eyes and mind open.

A brilliant young man, Daniel Silverstein, is a designer who noticed that tons of material scraps were being discarded by clothing manufacturers as they cut fabric for garments. He thought these pieces, small as they were, could be used.  An idea on how to do this was born, which led to the birth of a business.  He called the business Zero Waste Daniel (ZWD).

Check it out!

Visit this adventure on the Internet to view these one-of-a-kind pieces.  Read about the development of this business.  There’s so much more to the story.  You can even purchase some of these unique items online.

Silverstein is not only responsible for keeping tons of fabric from landfills but he also supports the idea of a living wage for his employees.  Can it get much better than this?  Yes, you can show up for the holidays in a ZWD piece and be the envy of everyone there!  It’s a thought.
