“Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store.  Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”  The Grinch

Christmas Eve is usually the first of our family celebrations.  It’s at our youngest son’s and the size of the crowd fluctuates.  The spirit in the room is generally joyous, which has a nice alliterative sound.

Gifts evolve, and are usually of the white elephant variety.  One year we stipulated that all gifts had to be from the “As Seen on TV” genre.  Crazy fun!

One of our favorite gifts was a homemade gift certificate that was good for dinner out, with the giver. They wanted to spend time with us.  Perfect!

I’m going to keep this short and declare that this is enough to read on Christmas day.  Time to spend time.  Peace and Blessings to you and yours.
