“I thought I checked all the pockets.”

Did you ever?  OK.  Maybe you’re more organized than I am.  If not, you’re in a world of trouble.

At any rate, one of my least favorite “adventures” is to open the washer and discover that someone, not naming names, left a tissue in one of her pockets and the tissue has gone through the wash.  My solution is to throw the mess into the dryer and appreciate any help I might get from the lint filter.

However, there are always a gaggle of tissue snivels sticking to the clothes when the drying process ends.  Silent scream!   I shake the clothes and pick and wonder why I didn’t finish college.  Oh, that’s right.  I finished college.  Never mind.

Then one day, in the same batch of tissue-festooned clothes, I’d washed one of those polishing clothes that have a lot of texture.  That also went into the dryer.  At the end of the drying cycle, magically, all of the tissue particles were adhering to to that amazing clothe and the rest of the clothes were snivel free!  Say Alleluia with me!

Now, every batch of clothes that goes into the dryer has the addition of a magic cloth.  Remember to check the pockets. You’re welcome.
