Recently, under the mistaken notion that I would enjoy eating every food listed under “good for you”, I purchased some frozen, chopped greens.  One meal with them as a side dish got rid of that notion.  But what to do with the greens?

Enter other great foods that are clogging up my fridge and freezer.  There’s the juices and fruits and chia seeds, just to name a few.  There is also a bag of frozen banana halves.   Make a smoothie, genius.  I realized that a small handful of frozen, chopped greens will magically blend in and find its way into my body.  Winner!


This amazing potion contains cranberry juice, coconut water, frozen banana, frozen blueberries, frozen kale, chia seeds, and other foods that got in my way.  It was rather tasty.  I’m feeling a sense of accomplishment.  I highly recommend a pink straw.
