“We live in the aftermath of our choices.”
Today as my husband and I were having an exciting day together, shopping for dish soap and drain cleaner, he told me about one of the warehouses that are part of the company he works for. The company fills orders and is experimenting with robots to put the orders together before humans do the final packaging.
“It’s like artificial intelligence,” he said. Something about the robots being told to find something that’s needed. They know exactly where to look and that’s defined as intelligence. Sounds like a wife to me!
And then I went off the deep end, but it’s not my fault. Lately I’ve been doing a bit reading about the way our minds are programed and how they subsequently work. Seems science is getting more convinced that humans don’t actually make decisions by weighing facts. Rather, we believe what we’ve been raised to believe and then spend our lives gathering facts to support these beliefs.
Isn’t life great for the over-caffeinated mind?
