“A less advertised truth about art making is that it’s more important to be productive than creative.”
Well, the above quote gives me something to think about. First of all, it has me thinking, “I wonder if that’s true?” Maybe I’ll just go to my art studio and whip up a few creations this evening. I like to err on the side of caution.
(Hold it! I just got a call from the health hotline. They’re actually leaving a message about insurance that I might qualify for. I love caller ID.)
But back to creations. Today, one of my most lovely creations was lunch. We stopped at one of our favorite restaurants after my husband’s appointment in the “big city”. That was my reward for coming along. Lunch! I’m easy.
But complications set in because last night I watched a movie about adopting a plant based diet, which is a bit more complicated than adopting a highway. Anyway, the promises of this lifestyle were inspirational. I knew I could do this … at least for a day. Enter, Salad Bar!
It was almost too pretty to eat. However, there are not many things that will stop me from eating when food is in front of me. I’m going to look into this way of eating if I can find recipes that are more than 50 variations of quinoa and not reliant on different versions of sugar. Wish me luck.
