“There is something so basic in kindness.”

I love this sauce for a number of reasons.  First, it is so super easy that you can make it last minute and impress all sorts of people who are dining in your home.  Second, it’s a perfect sauce for seafood.  And third (where would we be without a third) it gives great color to a plate in case you want to gussy up the dinner table.

OK.  Let’s throw in a fourth.  Come Holiday time you’ve got half of your red and green sauces available.  Enough!

Whip together.  Store in the fridge.

This is also one of those sauces you can drizzle on top of a light colored soup, such as pea soup or cream of mushroom or chicken.

The sweetness in the pasta sauce brings richness to this combination of flavors.  My favorite is to serve it with a mild white fish, such as, cod or tilapia.  Also great on chicken.  The choices never end.  Enjoy!
