“Raisin cookies are the only reason I have trust issues.”

I have a friend, Robert, who is quite an adventuresome foodie.  However, when it comes to raisins he will only say that raisins are just wrong.  He doesn’t see the reason for their creation or consumption.  Aside from that he’s a pretty normal person.

So the other day, when a lunch date with Nancy was unavoidably canceled, I felt the need to purchase a new pair of earrings.  Are you following this?  If so, you might have issues that need to be addressed.

The shop that sells the earrings that I LOVE was closed so I decided to purchase some cheese.  Still with me?  Went to my favorite cheese shop and purchased some Butterkase.

It’s buttery and creamy.  Of course, I also felt the need to go across the street from the cheese shop to the Swiss bakery and purchase some bread.  Sorry, Robert, I simply couldn’t resist the raisin bread.

While in the bakery the woman in line ahead of me was unable to make her purchase because the card reader in the bakery wasn’t working.  I purchased her small package of cookies for her.  I believe in karma and can hardly wait for the payback.

And then I went home and made a grilled cheese (Butterkase) on raisin bread.

Because of the canceled lunch date I’ve extra hours to use in my art studio.  This week’s piece is coming along nicely.
